Debt Avalanche
Pay minimums on everything, then throw every extra dollar at the highest interest rate first. Mathematically the cheapest way out of debt.

Why it matters
The avalanche minimizes total interest paid — attacking a 24% card before a 6% loan is pure arithmetic. Its weakness is human: the highest-rate debt is often the biggest balance, so months can pass with no visible win and motivation dies. Choose the avalanche if you trust your discipline; choose the snowball if you want wins early.
